The estate is 44 acres in total. There is 36 acres of tapping rubber, PB86 12 years old and 8 acres of coconut, also 12 years old. The estate has a crown deed, which is the best property deed in Sri Lanka. The location of the property is Matugama. Matugama is inland, just off Kalutara, passing Katukurunda. It takes only one and half hours drive from Colombo to Matugama. 15 mins drive from Southern highway junction to the estate. The estate had road access from two sides of the land. One side, is just 5-10 mins drive to the main Kalutara - Matugama road and the other side is through the plantations, which is approx 20-25 mins drive. There are terraced housing for the workers of the estate, a natural well, from which water is provided for the estate. In the middle of the land, there is also a small watchers hut/house. We have electricity to the whole land and the buildings. There is also a smoke room and rollers for rubber sheet making. The neighbouring estates are owned privately and by the government. We have a labour force who have been with us for many years. There is a big rock with a lovely view overlooking the whole estate.
